Improvisation, lifelong friendship and the outdoors all in one package!

IMPROVCAMP is unlike any other camp out there—it’s an exciting experience for high school students who love the art of improvisational theatre, and, thanks to our Leadership Program, it’s also a place for recent grads to expand their skills. At the weeklong summer camp held in Hope, BC, young improvisers receive comprehensive instruction in improvisational theatre by professionals from all over North America. Campers will be organized into ensembles that will travel from workshop to workshop, gaining skills and learning about their craft. There are performances each night, and many summer camp favourites like canoeing and hiking—a great way to meet other young improvisers from across Canada. IMPROVCAMP 2010 will be held August 23th-30th at Camp Kawkawa in Hope, BC in August 2010.

Registration started on February 14th, however it is now SOLD OUT for the 2010 season. EMAIL improvcamp@shaw.ca to get on the waitlist for any spots that may turn up.
