Improvisation, lifelong friendship and the outdoors all in one package!
The Canadian Improv Games is a proud partner of this amazing program because IMPROVCAMP is unlike any other camp out there—it’s an exciting experience for high school students (age 14-17) who love the art of improvisational theatre, and, thanks to our Leadership Program, it’s also a place for recent grads to expand their skills. At the weeklong summer camp held on Gambier Island, BC, young improvisers receive comprehensive instruction in improvisational theatre by professionals from all over North America. Campers will be organized into ensembles that will travel from workshop to workshop, gaining skills and learning about their craft. There are performances each night, and many summer camp favourites like canoeing and hiking—a great way to meet other young improvisers from across Canada. IMPROVCAMP will be held August 22nd-29th at Camp Fircom, BC in August 2012.
Registration will begin on February 14th for the 2012 season. If you are 18 years old or graduating High School this year fill out the application for our Leadership program. If you live out east, take a look at the our brand new Improv U program at Bishops University.
