Registration for the Improv University is $699.
With that registration, you get:

Improv Campus!
Improv University is our new summer program from the Geniuses that brought you IMPROVCAMP. Impov U is an exciting University-style experience for high school students who love the art of Improv, learning leadership skills and having an amazing time! At the weeklong event, young improvisers receive comprehensive instruction in improvisational theatre by professionals from all over North America. Students will be organized into ensembles that will travel from workshop to workshop, gaining skills and learning about their craft. There are performances each night in two separate theatres, and many varsity-style activities like intramural sports and outdoor team building. It’s a great way to meet other young improvisers from across Canada!
The Improv University Program:
The University program is the ultimate combination of the best improvisational training Canada has to offer and super cool Varsity Style activities. Each day at IMPROV University, students take intensive workshops from some of the most talented instructors from across Canada and beyond, which cover all facets of improvisational theatre. They also participate in university-wide games, swim, compete in intramural sports and work together on performance projects. At night, IMPROV U becomes a venue for improv theatre and entertainment. Each evening there are performances by the campers and numerous other surprises. And dance parties. So many dance parties. This program is for improvisers of all skill and experience levels.
Leadership Program:
The leadership program is designed for young people who are ready to take the next step, both as improvisers and youth leaders. The members of the leadership program take workshops to grow their improvisation skill set, but they also take seminars designed to enhance their abilities as leaders and mentors of youth. This program is both challenging and rewarding, and vital for those improvisers who are interested in assisting in the growth of the next generation. Acceptance is by application only.
How To Register!

REGISTRATION STARTS FEBRUARY 14Th. Register before April 7 and save $30.
For our online registration system you will need the following information:
- Billing info, including home address, phone numbers, email address and credit card information.
- Medical info (including allergies and medication).
- Information regarding improvisation experience for our Ensemble form.
- Travel information.
You can keep your login name and password to log back into the system later if you would like to have your son or daughter fill in the Ensemble info his or herself.
Additionally, travel information can also be added at a later date to allow you to take advantage of seat sales when purchasing your son or daughter’s flights.
If your son or daughter is registering for the Leadership Program we would ask that you take the time to fill out our online application form, found within our online registration system. We will select our Leadership Program candidates on MAY 1st 2012. At that time, we will process your registration.
IMPROV U 2011 Registration Begins February 14th 2012. We believe this program will be crazy popular so be sure to register soon after registrations begin!

Even if you’ve been to camp before it’s always a good reminder of what to bring. Here is a copy of our packing list:
The Bishops University campus is outfitted with Dormitories, which have rooms with 2 beds (mattresses included). There is a dining hall where meals are prepared by the university’s certified staff. The dormitories also include washrooms with showers in each room, playing fields, and 2 large Theatres which we will hold performances in each night.
How do I get to IMPROV UNIVERSITY?
Students can arrive at the campus one of two ways:
1. Live nearby?
Students can be dropped off at Bishops University at 10am on July 8th. We will have staff there to meet them. Parents can pick up campers at the Campus at 1pm July 14th.
2. Travelling by Plane or Bus?
Students travelling from afar can take the bus or a flight to Montreal and we’ll transport you by bus to the Bishops Campus for an additional $30 fee. We would ask that your flight arrive in the morning and not the late afternoon so that we can get everyone to the campus on time! If you are travelling from the USA please be sure to have your passports and other travel documents in order.
