Welcome to the Victoria Regional Canadian Improv Games Program!
Established in 2001, the Victoria program (serving the Vancouver Island) is part of a national network of regional teams that join the Canadian Improv Games through their local high school. During the school year, students gain access to a number of exciting and unique programs that encourage exploring the art of improv, learning life skills like Positivity, Communication, Leadership, Commitment and Teamwork, making new friends and having fun.
For more information, to register your high school in our 2018 program or to get involved as a volunteer, player or coach, please contact Regional Director Katt Campbell at email@example.com
Regional Director, Katt Campbell
Katt has been improvising since the 90s, and patting cats for even longer. She is an alumna of the University of Victoria’s Theatre department, and works as an Arts Administrator and Sign Language Interpreter in Victoria, BC. In her spare time, Katt can be found at Girl Guide camp, where she is likely in a canoe and more often than not covered in chocolate. Since 2015, Katt has also held the position of National Volunteer Coordinator with Canadian Improv Games aside from her duties as one of BC’s Regional Directors. Katt is an alumna of Improv Camp, the Next Act Festival, Vancouver TheatreSports League, Sin City; The Live, Completely Improvised Soap Opera, and Remilio Sheen. She regularly performs in Victoria, BC, and is one of the founding members of the UVic Improv Club. Katt would like to dedicate this bio to her cat, Billie, and to confused-looking orange tabbys everywhere – may your suffering someday end.
