Vancouver Island Regional Program

Welcome to the Vancouver Island Regional Canadian Improv Games Program!

Established in 2001, the Vancouver Island program is part of a national network of regional teams that join the Canadian Improv Games through their local high school.  During the school year, students gain access to a number of exciting and unique programs that encourage exploring the art of improv, learning life skills like Positivity, Communication, Leadership, Commitment and Teamwork, making new friends and having fun.

For more information, to register your high school in our 2018 program or to get involved as a volunteer, player or coach, please contact the Regional Producer Jordan Holmes at

Vancouver Island Regional Producer, Jordan Holmes!

Jordan has been with the Games since 2009, as a player in the Nova Scotia Region, and then in various volunteer roles in both the Nova Scotia and New Brunswick & PEI Regions until 2017! She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Mount Allison University, and while there she was a member of Presents: The Improv, and performed as a part of Presents: The Next Generation. Jordan has trained and performed across Canada, including CIG’s very own Next Act Festival!
Outside of Improv Jordan is an avid adventurer, and spends her time working with Army Cadets teaching outdoor leadership and various forms of self-propelled transportation.
Life has taken this east coast gal west, but luckily the CIG family is everywhere and she’s tickled pink to be the new Regional Producer for the Vancouver Island Tournament!
