Welcome to the Montreal Regional Canadian Improv Games Program!
Established in the 90s, the Montreal program is part of a national network of regional teams that join the Canadian Improv Games through their local high school. During the school year, students gain access to a number of exciting and unique programs that encourage exploring the art of improv, learning life skills like Positivity, Communication, Leadership, Commitment and Teamwork, making new friends and having fun.
For more information, to register your high school in our 2018 program or to get involved as a volunteer, player or coach, please contact Regional Director’s Kevin Black + Kassandra Berardelli at email@example.com
Kevin Black + Kassandra Berardelli
Kevin has been involved with the Canadian Improv Games for as long as he has been friends with Kassandra – 9 whole years! He has been a player, photographer, ticket seller, what’s in the box enthusiast, referee, judge, and now a Regional Director. In Kevin’s last year of high school he left with a gold medal from the National Finals of the Canadian Improv Games, and has been in love ever since. He is now having a blast giving workshops to schools across Montreal and couldn’t be happier. Outside of the CIG, Kevin is a professional actor working in both the Montreal theatre and film scene. One of his fondest moments was performing alongside an Australian Improv troupe at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Kevin continues to credit all his acting/improvisation adventures to his first introduction to the theatre world; The Canadian Improv Games.
Kassandra has been involved with the Canadian Improv Games for as long as she has been friends with Kevin, that’s one-year shy of a decade! Wearing many hats at CIG, not only is Kass a Regional Director, she also acts as Head Judge in the regional tournament and is a trainer at Improv University. In her spare time, Kassandra works with 60 Million Girls, a Montreal-based public foundation dedicated to girls’ education in developing countries. She is currently studying at McGill University where she is learning how to become the best High School Mathematics Teacher she can possibly be!
