We are not asking you to add a cause. We’re asking you to back one you already report on, with fifty years of proof behind it: youth mental health and belonging, youth leadership, a season entirely away from screens, access to the arts for students whose schools have no theatre budget, and Canadian communities in fifteen regions.
For a lot of these students CIG is the first place they are accepted because of what makes them different, and it holds, because their peers gave it to them.
Teenagers practising ownership, mentorship and collaboration under real pressure, in front of a real audience. It’s exactly the behaviours your early‑career hiring says it can’t find.
A season of real rooms, real people and a live audience. Nothing to scroll, nothing to post. The rare youth program whose whole point happens in person.
A professional stage for students whose schools have no theatre budget, in fifteen regions, small towns included, not just the big cities.
Built here since 1977 and run by volunteers in your city, ending on a national stage in Ottawa. Local visibility and a national story in the same gift.
Partnerships run from $50 as a Friend of the Games to $25,000 presenting the whole season. Every gift receives a charitable receipt, and every partner receives a report at the end of the season showing what their support paid for.
From a local business backing its own community’s tournament, to one brand presenting the whole fiftieth season. Multi‑year agreements available, counted at full commitment value.
One available, full exclusivity. Your name on the season and the National Festival, title on finals night, and named in all fifteen regions.
Category exclusive, four slots. Your name attached to one national part of the season: getting teams to Ottawa, school recovery, the finals livestream, or the volunteer producers who run the tournaments.
One partner per project. Support a region for the season, present the Canada‑wide online Wildcard, or back a specific piece of the program we build together.
Back your own city’s tournament, or take on a moment inside the show: the What’s In The Box giveaway, the championship confetti, an MVP award.
Fifty dollars for the fiftieth. The open door for alumni, parents and staff, with a charitable receipt for every gift.
Four funds. Every dollar lands in one of them, and we report against them, with your name on it, in our 2027 impact report.
The growth work: program awareness, recruiting schools that have never heard of us, and winning back the ones that stopped. Marketing capacity we have never had, and keeping team registration attainable for the schools that need it most.
Finding the next teacher is the hardest thing we do. Keeping them supported as teams grow and change is the second. Coach training, ready‑to‑use curriculum, and support that takes work off a teacher’s plate instead of adding to it.
Fifteen regional tournaments at full strength: venues, technical production, paid producers, plus team travel to Ottawa and the 50th Festival at the NAC.
A modern website, our first alumni database, the Nationals livestream and French‑language expansion. The backbone that lets fifteen regions run as one Games, and the room to try new things.
It’s with sincere gratitude that Canadian Improv Games would like to thank and aknowledge those that have done so much to support what we do.
